The 2012 SEGD Conference: The Bridge was held in Brooklyn and Manhattan June 7-9, 2012.
With its theme inspired by the famous Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges, the 2012 conference was designed to provoke participants to rethink their profession, recognize and strengthen their existing connections, and build new ones. In two boroughs, participants explored the "bridges" between local and global cultures, generations, languages, philosophies, and visual styles.
