Advances in Healthcare Identity and Wayfinding
Workshop
Themes: Wayfinding, Materials and Fabrication
April 23-24, 2009
9:30am - 5:00pm
Houston Marriott Medical Center
Houston, TX
This workshop was developed in coordination with the Houston Chapter of SEGD
Ten years ago, most healthcare facilities looked at wayfinding and EGD as merely the development of sign systems. Today environmental graphic design influences every step in the planning, management, architecture, design, and fabrication processes. Workshop sessions focus on advances in wayfinding and EGD in healthcare, and how designers and facility developers can capitalize on the evolution of the practice. This workshop is oriented towards experienced environmental graphic designers, fabricators, architects, and healthcare executives seeking to advance their methodologies and practices.
Attendees will receive a free CD on the workshop; non-attendees may purchase the CD for $100.
This course offers six AIA credits; contact Craig Berger for more information.
