3nd Annual Transportation and Airport Workshop
March 25-26, 2010
Renaissance Hotel Atlanta International Airport

Presented in partnership with the Airport Sign Managers Network and the Atlanta Chapter of SEGD.

Sponsors: APCO, Architectural Signing, iZone, SignComp

Patron: Colite International

Transportation wayfinding is a complex layering of laws, guidelines, best practices, new technologies, and facility management conflicts. Developing and managing such a wayfinding program requires an in-depth understanding of issues from highway planning to accessibility to multi-lingual design. This workshop will cover all these areas and include lectures and discussion groups with leading transportation designers, researchers, and facilities managers. Take a tour and audit of the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and MARTA transit system, which will bring all the issues discussed into the real world environment of one of the busiest airport and transportation hubs in the United States.

This workshop is for high-level designers, facility managers, and planners.  Participants will receive a CD with the materials from this workshop.

Six AIA continuing education credits are available; contact Craig Berger for more information.
